For more than fifty years, the Gómez Callao Family has been linked to the meat sector.
It all started when the brothers Manuel and Mariano Gómez Callao started the activity of chicken rearing In two warehouses in the Caspe district called Serreta Vicent, later, a Bird Slaughterhouse was built, located at Camino Capellán, 6, where chickens were mainly slaughtered for sale.

The path to a successful transformation

There came a time when the slaughter of chickens had to be carried out in other facilities, so the facilities in cutting room for fresh meat products and meat refrigerated warehouse, the genre was received in channels, which was later torn into pieces and marketed, beginning to supply our products through various routes outside of Caspe, serving butcher shops and catering.

On January 5, 1994, constitutes the commercial company INDUSTRIAS GOMEZ CALLAO, S.L., whose objectives will be the distribution of meat products and derivatives, located at Camino Capellán, 6 in Caspe, with a useful area of 631 m2, these facilities have 2 cutting rooms, 7 cold rooms of different capacities, several spaces for storage and two loading docks.
In 2014, the facilities were expanded by acquiring a new premises located at Camino Capellán, 5. This warehouse consists of two floors of 250 m2 each, connected to each other by a forklift.

It will be on the upper floor where the activities of Poultry Cutting Room and Room for the Preparation of Meat Preparations and on the ground floor the activity of Freezing and Frozen Storage of Fresh Meat.

As of 2014, we have two facilities, the new Poultry quartering room and production of own products (filleted, chopped, hamburgers, breaded, marinated...) and the Ungulate cutting room (Pork, bovine, bovine, rabbit), and the distribution of the genus is carried out to the different clients, mainly butcher shops and catering, in the town itself and by different routes (Ruta del Ebro, Ruta Maella-Mequinenza, Ruta Gandesa-Valderrobres, Andorra-Sierra de Arcos Route, Bujaraloz-Candasnos Route) throughout the week.
